A prominent player in the legal industry, renowned for its expertise and dedication to serving the energy and infrastructure sectors, is now seeking a Real Estate Energy and Infrastructure solicitor to join the team of highly skilled professionals in Edinburgh. 

In this position you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and will play a pivotal role in providing legal support to high-profile clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide legal counsel on property aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, including but not limited to wind, solar, hydrogen, carbon capture, battery storage, and nuclear transactions
  • Collaborate with a variety of clients, including public authorities, developers, investors, funders, and utility companies
  • Handle a broad spectrum of tasks, including lease arrangements, property acquisitions, and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with circa 3-6 years' PQE gained within commercial property in either England & Wales or Scotland. Experience in property work related to energy and infrastructure projects is highly desirable but not essential. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused environment and have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
