A global company are looking for an End User Computing Analyst to join their thriving team in Newcastle. The role:

As an End User computing Analyst, you will provide EUC services across the EMEA division. You will be focused on the management of the virtual builds (Azure Virtual Desktop) and maintaining other EIC services (desktop and mobile). Day to day, you will use technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Azure, Group Policy and Nerdio. Your role is to provide a modern, consistent and seamless user experience to the internal employees.

The key responsibilities:

  • Supporting, managing and designing  EUC services – updating to incorporate new security and hardware baselines.
  • Manage and maintain EUC services using tools like Intune GPO or MECM.
  • Overseeing  Windows 10/11, iPhones, iPads, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services.
  • Integrating modern capabilities across EUC services  (Azure, SSO, MFA, content management, and security)
  • Ensuring software packaging lifecycle  for all deployments.
  • Maintaining software release cadence to prevent EoL or EoS software
  • Promoting an “Evergreen” approach for EUC management.
  • Ensuring security compliance throughout the EUC estate.
  • Providing 3rd line escalation support to the EMEA Service Desk and regional teams.
  • Following ITIL best practices for incident, problem, configuration, and release management.
  • Driving innovation within the EUC domain
  • On Call Rota will be an essential part of this role

Key skills required:

  • Strong experience using Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop OR Citrix
  • Strong experience in Mobile Device Management
  • Microsoft System Deployment - Windows 10/11/MECM
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Microsoft 365 implementation and migrations
  • Experience using Nerdio
  • Experience with application packaging
  • Experience with application licence management

Hybrid working / 3 days per week in office / Newcastle City Centre

You must be fully eligible to work in the UK and be able to travel into the office on occasion
