Our client is a Legal 500 firm based in Reading, Berkshire currently seeking to appoint a solicitor (NQ-2 years’ PQE) to join the expanding Employment team.

The firm is offering work which will involve dealing with a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious issues acting for both businesses and private individuals.

Your caseload will include an array of employment matters to include settlement agreements, drafting contracts of employment, disciplinaries and grievances, redundancy matters, employment tribunals, and corporate support work. You will also be expected to play an active part in the team’s business development activities, including attendance at seminars, training workshops, networking events, and writing articles for our monthly eBulletin.

The ideal candidate will have recently qualified or have experience ideally from a recognised London or regional practice, good contract employment law skills and knowledge, and a strong academic record (2.1 degree is a minimum requirement).

An interest marketing and business development would be advantageous.
