Douglas Scott are working with a long-standing client who is currently seeking a motivated and talented Paralegal to join its Employment & HR team.

This is a full-time role with hybrid-working options, where the successful candidate will collaborate closely with experienced Employment & HR Solicitors. The Paralegal will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality legal support to clients while upholding the firm’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting solicitors in the Employment & HR department with case preparation, legal research, and documentation.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Working independently and remotely, managing tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients, demonstrating proactive and attentive client service.
  • Embracing innovation and adaptability, contributing to the enhancement of the firm’s legal services.
  • Proactively exceeding client expectations, ensuring a positive client experience at every touchpoint.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software proficiently to support day-to-day operations.
Key DNA Traits:
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal environment, preferably in Employment Law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to challenge and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Proactive approach to exceeding client expectations and achieving team objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
