Job Title: Employment Solicitor (4 PQE)

Salary: From £65,000 

Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor with three or more years of post-qualification experience seeking a new challenge in Edinburgh or Glasgow? The Role: As an Employment Solicitor with three or more years of PQE, you will take on a key role within the firm's employment law team, working closely with clients to provide strategic advice and representation on a wide range of employment matters. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and further develop your skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary proceedings, grievances, discrimination claims, and employment tribunal litigation.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and employment tribunal hearings.
  • Conducting legal research and staying abreast of developments in employment law.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
  • Demonstrable experience handling a broad range of contentious & non-countentious employment law matters.
  • Strong technical skills and a sound understanding of relevant legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and commercially astute approach to problem-solving and client management.
