The Role

Ready to make a meaningful impact while supporting our participants journey back into employment? Join us in our Folkestone Restart office where you will play a pivotal role in equipping participants with the skills, tools and practices they need in order to re-enter employment.

What are we looking for?

We're seeking passionate individuals who are committed to providing excellent customer service to our participants and additionally;

  • Confident in your ability to assess, mentor, motivate and coach individuals.
  • Great at problem-solving and able to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong administration skills and good computer/technology skills.
  • Level 2 English and IAG Level 4 however, these are not essential.

Previous experience of supporting people with a range of barriers into work is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from all candidates who are passionate about changing the lives of others.

Who We Are

Here at PeoplePlus, we deliver the Restart Scheme on behalf of the DWP in Kent, the North East, and Wales.

The Scheme gives enhanced support for eligible claimants to find jobs, along with personalised support including health and wellbeing advice and a tailored action plan.

Our support ensures that individuals are ready for the right job at the right time. In the first year of the scheme PeoplePlus supported ?nearly 15,000 people in their search for fresh employment, with nearly 4,000 starting work. We also provide up to 12 months of support for the individual once they have started work.
