Are you an experienced Employee Relations Manager looking for your next opportunity? A renowned investment firm in Central London are looking for permanent Employee Relations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the workplace culture! Working alongside the HR Employee Relations Manager and collaborating with HR Business Partners, you'll be instrumental in providing proactive HR advice and support to drive our business strategy forward.

As a proactive and independent individual, you will lead the Employee Relations team and collaborate with various business areas to provide expert guidance on employee relations matters. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective employee relations practices across the organisation to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate trusted relationships across various levels of the organisation, fostering collaboration and building credibility.
  • Contribute to enhancing HR systems and practices, continuously striving for improvement.
  • Assist HR Business Partners in executing change initiatives such as restructurings and M&A activities.
  • Lead or participate in projects focusing on policy reviews, SMCR, DSARs, and Whistleblowing.
  • Provide guidance to specific client groups on HR matters.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, including performance improvement plans, grievances, and disciplinary actions, escalating when necessary.
  • Support employees on leaves of absence, including maternity/paternity leave and flexible working requests.
  • Collaborate with the Resourcing team for recruitment needs and Learning & Development for training requirements.
  • Assist the Head of Reward and Reward team in operational reward matters, including the annual pay review.
  • Compile and analyse HR Management Information to drive informed decision-making.
  • Offer assistance to the HR Services team as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, case management, and policy-focused roles, with a strong grasp of employment law and the ability to apply it practically to deliver commercial solutions.
  • Proficiency in presenting complex issues and problem-solving initiatives in an easily understandable format, accompanied by supportive processes and procedures.
  • Skilled in training, coaching, and developing HR and business stakeholders on employee relations matters, with the aim of sharing knowledge and enhancing their capabilities.
  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive reviews of policies, practices, and terms and conditions, coupled with adept problem-solving abilities and successful implementation of solutions.
  • Ability to craft concise documentation and recommendations tailored to senior stakeholders.
