Large Housing Association requires an HR Advisor with expertise in complex Employee Relations case management for a 2-3 month period. Pay rate is £22-£24 PAYE or £28-£31 Umbrella

Main responsibilities:

Covering all areas of employee relations - handling grievance’s, disciplinaries, performance management, probations and ill health capability, through to appeal level.

Able to pick up and hit the ground running with the management of such ER casework, often where a number of these process are underway at the same time, and where the ee’s concerns raised and needs are complex, or the managers require active case management support.

Work with business areas on employee related issues through the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, talent, learning and well-being, absence management, terms and conditions, performance management and other HR related duties, with support from the HRBP and liaising with specialist teams where required

Work closely with the HR team and line managers to ensure a consistent and co-ordinated approach

Advise and assist in the resolution of line manager queries which cannot be solved through first line support, managers toolkit and other means

Support the HRBP in monitoring HR reports to analyse trends relating to exit interviews, absence and ER casework and share with managers; support business managers to manage their establishment and to use the HRIS system in order to manage their staff appropriately

Manage the redeployment process from start to end in liaison with HR colleagues

Work with the business to embed appropriate standards of behaviour, management and leadership programmes and diversity and inclusion initiatives in business areas. Utilise the support of the Talent & Learning Team as required

Support the HRBP to working with business managers on change management processes including TUPE and restructures, including consultations and redundancies.

Advise managers on dealing with both routine and more challenging employee relations cases, providing legal and procedural advice options and guidance on the process, ensuring policies are followed and risks outlined and managed

Support the HRBP to manage ACAS and ET cases, working with internal specialists and employment law partners where appropriate; attend employment tribunals where required

Undertake corporate responsibilities as required, including assistance in investigations and hearings in formal processes across the business

Experience:

HR Advisor level with comprehensive experience in complex ER cases
