Embedded Systems Programmer | 6 months contract | Outside IR35 | £300-£400 per day | Remote

My client is looking for a contractor to join the team to help with a firmware project for network cameras. The contract will be for an initial 6 months with possibility of extension after that. It is outside IR35 and fully remote. Rate wise they are able to be flexibility between the £300-£400 per day depending on experience. 

Essential experience: C/C++ Embedded Linux Programmer with Gstreamer.

Required experience:
Embedded Systems Programming: Understanding of embedded systems and experience in programming for hardware with limited resources. Familiarity with hardware interfaces and peripherals is crucial.
C/C++ Programming: Proficiency in C and C++.
Linux Development: Experience with Linux kernel development, device drivers, and the development of applications for Linux is important. This is the operating system that they are using. 
Network Programming: Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP) and experience with network programming to handle communication and streaming of video data.
Video Technologies: Understanding of video compression techniques (e.g., H.264, H.265) and video processing technologies, as well as experience with multimedia frameworks (e.g., GStreamer).
Nice to have extras: Open ICP and Magestic
