JOB AD:

We are working with a pioneer in the design and development of space FPGAs and e-FPGAs. Based in Paris and Montpellier, they are in n full expansion and constantly looking to strengthen their software and hardware development teams.

They are looking for a full-time permanent contract for their new family of SoCs, an embedded software developer. The candidate will evolve within a software team responsible for the development of the entire embedded software chain from the toolchain to the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) through the bootloader as well as the various drivers for the operating systems (RTOS, Linux, virtualizer...). The selected candidate will join their team based in Sèvres (92). Ability to work in a team and adaptability will be decisive in the selection of the candidate.

They are looking for a software developer familiar with low-level drivers who will be in charge of:

-Define and review the software architecture -Participate in the implementation, review, documentation and maintenance of the code -Contribute in setting up the development environment (toolchain, linker, compilation options...) -Processor initialization (ARM-R/A/M, or other) -Optimize memory management (MMU, MPU, MCU) -Contribute, with the hardware team, in the specification of new SoC products and IP blocks -Define in reusable generic APIs for different OS targets

SKILLS

-Embedded C/C++

-Git

-SPI Bus, UART, I2C, DMA, Memory Controller -ARM architecture -Bootloader -RTOS -Unit testing framework -One of these fields will be a plus: Python, real-time development, security, linux kernel

REQUIRED PROFILE

- Level: Bac +5 IT specialty

-At least 8 years of experience

-Good written & oral expression (French and English) -First experience in FPGA desired
