Embedded Software Engineer
Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a growing engineering consultancy in the Derby area that, due to success and growth in the business, is looking to expand it’s research and development team with another embedded software engineer. You’ll be working through the entire design life-cycle of cutting-edge products for some of the companies’ high profile clients including the UK Government, with the aim of protecting national infrastructure from cyber threats.
Essential Criteria: Due to the high-security nature of this role, all candidates need to be British citizens (No dual-nationalities, sorry!)
All candidates will need to be eligible to obtain DV clearance
Demonstrable track record of embedded software/firmware development in C or C++ Embedded software/firmware for bare-metal or multi-threaded platforms (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.)
Desirable Criteria:
Experience with embedded software debugging using JTAG or similar
Experience with C# software development
Experience with Rust or Ada SPARK
Experience with cryptography
