Electronics Test Engineer

We’re keen to speak with enthusiastic, ambitious, and self-motivated Electronics Engineers with experience testing PCBs and complete assemblies to specification.

Key responsibilities for Electronics Test Engineer:

• Testing of printed circuit boards and assemblies whilst ensuring that the quality and performance meets specification
• Fault finding to component level and ensuring instructions and documents are kept up to date

• Ensuring that your products are handled and tested to a high standard keeping in line with policies
• Keeping in line with expectations on timelines and deadlines
• Recording all information correctly on and thoroughly the company ERP system
• Providing data and yield statistics to the Process Engineering department and providing technical recommendations where appropriate
• Actively involved in the implementation of new processes and generating instructions and documents
• Making improvement recommendations to the Test Engineering Leadership team

As part of this role there will be some limited travel expectations depending on the demands of the business.

To Apply for the role of Electronics Test Engineer you should have the following background:

• BTEC ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in electronics
• Two years’ experience in a similar electronics manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in electronic production & assembly
• Familiarity with tools commonly used in electrical and electronic testing
• Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and fault find to component level
• Great knowledge of using PIC programming tools and similar devices
