The Company recruiting for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:

• A market leader in home safety systems
• Renowned for their battery and mains powered devices.
• Growing and expanding in Coventry and further afield
• Seeking an electronics test and validation engineer

The Role of the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:

• Carry out test and validation of new and legacy products.
• Compile failure reports and update other engineering departments.
• Diagnose and fault find down to component level.
• When necessary, create test procedures to allow improved testing, development and validation processes.
• Support the wider team.
• Mon - Fri role

The Candidate for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:

• A formal electronics engineering qualification such as BTEC, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, etc
• Understand schematics and able to diagnose failed electronic components and systems.
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing knowledge
• Confident using specialist equipment such as multimeters, 0201 & 0402 soldering, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analysers.
• Experience of Radio testing, LCM softwares, and critical products or low powered devices is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Strong English communication skills
• Able to commute daily to the Coventry site

The Package for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:

• £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Company performance related bonus
