About Us: My client, a leader in offshore technologies, is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in Great Yarmouth. The specialise in developing cutting-edge solutions for the subsea industry, providing advanced technology to support underwater exploration and operations.

Job Overview: As an Electronics Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the production and manufacturing of our state-of-the-art subsea technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to the testing and assembly of electronic components, ensuring the highest quality and reliability in our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to understand and interpret electronic schematics and specifications.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring the efficient assembly of electronic components and sub-assemblies for subsea technology products.
  • Conduct quality control checks to guarantee the highest standards of performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic components during the production phase.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff as needed.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for electronics production processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronics production and manufacturing, preferably within the subsea or marine technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, PCBs, and assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to subsea technologies.
