Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a leading business based in Chesterfield to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer who will manage development projects from initial research, through design, prototyping, manufacturing and delivery. 

Our client is looking for someone with a genuine passion for new design, an innovative mindset and the ability to manage a variety of projects at any one time.

Duties of the Electronics Design Engineer include: 

  • Taking an active part inthe initiation of new product ranges and product refreshes.
  •  Create and develop new electronic product ideas  
  • Creating detailed product specifications, hardware designs, prototypes and embedded software to deliver the required functionality
  • Ensure manufacturers and suppliers are briefedaccurately, and effectively and meet required deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers when required
  • Ensuring product feasibility and produce a calculation/study for any capital projects

We would be keen to speak with Interior Designers with the following skills: 

  • Experience with manufacturing techniques and knowledge of design for manufacturing concepts
  • Experience in designing PCBs, hardware design (component selection and creating schematics), and writing firmware
  • Experience designing products with embedded electronics
  • Proficient in the use of SolidWorks to create CAD designs 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot trend
