Electrical Assembly Operatives

Full-time Opportunity, (6-Month Fixed Term Contract) with the possibilty of being taken on after contract.

Monday to Friday, 37.5-Hours Per Week.

£11.59 Per Hour, (Equivalent of £22,600 basic Annual Salary).

Based near Boldre in Hampshire.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a number of Assembly Operatives to join an expanding company who specialise in sensors and system calibration for industries including Aviation, Defence & Maritime on a 6-month fixed term contract. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products. This is a great opportunity for individuals with electronic assembly knowledge, experience of working with small parts and using basic hand skills. Working Monday to Friday, (half day on a Friday) 37.5hrs per week.

Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret work orders and production requirements (assembly instructions, blueprints, and drawings).
- Use hand tools, and assembly jigs to assemble components and products.
- Using in-house systems.
- Work to a scheduled build time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, stock items etc.
- Testing and building electronic products.

Experience:

  • - Previous experience in Electrical or Mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • - Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
  • - Good dexterity, methodical, organised, self-motivated, with a common-sense approach.
  • - Wiring experience, soldering experience preferred although not essential.
  • - Would potentially suit candidates who have crocheted, knitted or sewn before.
