Here at Impact Recruitment we are hiring an Electronics Engineer for one of our clients based within Northampton. They are a market leading supplier in their industry and have seen continued growth throughout the last few years. We are looking for an electronically qualified engineer who has a proven track record servicing equipment.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DoE)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Location: Northampton

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and systems in equipment, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Perform routine testing and calibration of healthcare devices to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and calibration results. Prepare reports as necessary.
  • Work closely with other engineering and technical teams to address complex issues and improve overall equipment performance.
  • Adhere to strict quality control standards to ensure the safety and effectiveness of equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of new procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of electronic healthcare equipment.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in electronic engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years' experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuits, components, and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.
