Electronic Design Engineer
We are delighted to be supporting recruitment for a new position of Electronic Design Engineer based in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent role with salary negotiable by experience plus benefits. Working for a specialist business who develop advanced photosynthesis systems in measuring carbon cycle. You will be expected to learn physics of infra-red gas measurement and have an interest in physics.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and testing prototypes and ensuring design specifications are met.
- Producing circuit and component lists.
Skills and Experience required for the Electronic Design Engineer role:
- Electronics skills in design of scientific instruments
- Analogue and digital electronic design
- Hand craft and test electronic prototypes
- Knowledge of and interest in physics
- The candidate would be expected to learn about the physics of infra-red gas measurement.
- Creative in solving technical problems.
- Planning and executing electronic designs using CAD, and working with 3D data to avoid component clashes Software and mechanical design experience would be an advantage.
- MIcrocontroller experience
