Our client, an electronics manufacturing business, seek to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer to the engineering team. The appointed Electronic Design Engineer will provide support to internal Sales, R&D, and Production Engineering Departments and handle external queries from a worldwide customer base whilst designing new products and modifying existing designs. You will need good knowledge of electronics (electrical and electronic engineering qualification preferred) and have a good all-round appreciation of electronics. You'll be joining a business with a real family feel and a great working environment.

Electronic Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Electronic Engineer / Design Engineer / Electronics / PCB / Circuit Design

* Design of new and modification of existing products
* PCB design and layout and basic circuit design
* Electro-mechanical modelling using Solidworks 3D CAD software
* Production Engineering, Test Engineering and shop floor manufacturing support when required
* Customer support as required - excellent phone manner

Electronic Design Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Electronic Engineer / Design Engineer / Electronics / PCB / Circuit Design / Surface Mount

* HNC/HND/Degree Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Practical experience of electronics manufacturing. Familiarity with PCB design and layout, hardware, software and mechanical engineering
* Confident and a good communicator with hands-on experience
* Knowledge of PCB software, circuit design and wiring
* Proficient in written and spoken english with good knowledge of MS Office
