Our client based in Lymington has a requirement for someone looking for a career as an Electronic Assembly Operator. Working within the Production Department, the Assembly Operator will be constructing small parts using hand tools and assembly jigs to drawings and specifications.

Applicants must have the correct aptitude, be willing to undergo training and have a positive can-do approach to working. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Specific Responsibilities to Include:
  • Building product to designated work instructions and training, transferable experience an advantage.
  • Testing to specified test parameters.
  • Recording build / test information on works orders / lot cards.
  • Rejecting and recording nonconforming product
  • Quality inspection of own work
  • Maintenance of bench stock items
  • Use of in-house PC systems

  • Experience of light electromechanical assembly work, soldering, wiring and the ability to follow works instructions and engineering drawings.

This is a permanent position with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Hours of work are 37.5 per week, with a pattern of 07:30 am to 16:15 pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30 am till 12:00 pm on a Friday. The starting salary will be £22,600 per annum, rising to £23,350 per annum after 6-month probation.
