Electromechanical fitter required for a multi-national engineering company who specialise in motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating machinery.
  • £33,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Monday – Thursday 0730-1600, Friday 0730-1300
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free parking on site
  • Based in Bristol, Avonmouth- BS11

About the job
  • Dismantling, rebuild and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, generators and similar equipment
  • Repairs to rotating equipment
  • Fault finding of industrial electro-mechanical equipment
  • Ensuring all inspection and assembly documentation is completed
  • Working on site and in the workshop when required

The right candidate
  • Mechanical time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience with pumps, gearboxes, motors and fans
  • Strong engineering background in a similar environment
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
