Electrician

Our client design, build, and operate Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems throughout the United Kingdom. Current projects are in Dorset, Birmingham, Bristol and Scotland.

Founded in 2010, their in-house team of engineers, planners and project managers provide a complete turnkey solution for landowners, SMEs and large corporates, incorporating every aspect of the project development process and ensuring they are always one step ahead.

With this position you will be required to stay away Mon - Friwhen required in areas such as Birmingham, Bristol, Dorset and Scotland.

Electrician Position Overview

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all asset managed renewable energy sites.
• Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover.
• Identifying, recording, and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Management and completion of Low Voltage electrical design and installation.
• Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.
• Completing reports.

Electrician Position Requirements

• City and Guilds 2365-02/03, equivalent or higher.
• City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition.
• Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekend.
• Minimum 5 years working within the industry
• Solar PV experience (Desirable)

Electrician Position Remuneration

• £30,000 - £42,000
• Vehicle plus fuel card
• Overtime plus Saturday work available
• Accommodation covered
• Hours 8:30 - 4:30
• Full package to be discussed at interview
