Purpose of the Job:

To carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance activities.

KeyResponsibilities:

The primary responsibilitiesaredetailedbelow, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additionalresponsibilitiestobeabsorbedwithinreason from time to time to meet business demands.

  • Door entry systems;
  • Commercial / emergency lighting and power distribution;
  • Carrying out test and inspections;
  • Maintain accurate records of all works undertaken;
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards;
  • To build positive working relationships with clients and ensure that all work is completed to a satisfactory level;
  • Participate in the 'out of hour’s service on a rota basis to ensure electrical issues are dealt with promptly.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence;
  • Have a positive 'can do’ attitude;
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team;
  • Good communication and customer service skills;
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems desirable;
  • Full industry recognised Electrical Installation qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent;
  • BS7671 17th/18th Edition;
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial Inspection & Testing) desirable;
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate;
  • IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile Boom desirable;
  • PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users desirable;
  • UKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport desirable.

Working Days/Hours:

  • Must be flexible with working days/hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekends;
  • Regular overtime available.
