Located in West Bromwich (West Midlands, UK). Our client are specialists in a variety of Chemical services to a global market . Manufacturers of Intermediates, Agrochemical and Speciality Chemical industries.

We are recruiting for a suitable candidate to join the Electrical Department. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled Electrical Engineering team within a lower tier CoMAH facility. The successful candidate will be an experienced, qualified Electrical Technician who is looking for an immediate start.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience as listed below:

- Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
- Electrical plant installation and modification work in a similar environment.
- Statutory inspections.
- Experience of using Maintenance Management Systems.
- The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information.
- Work in accordance with the company safe systems.
- Ideally have a good understanding of ATEX requirements.

Key Skills:

Educated to RQF level 3 (City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline as a minimum.
17th/18th edition electrical wiring regulations.
Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification is an advantage but not essential.
MEWP or IPAF experience is an advantage.

Salary:

£31.9k
Additional payments for the emergency on-call rota.
25 days paid holiday (plus all UK Bank Holidays).
40-hour working week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

Annual pay review/increases.
