UK based company that services commercial buildings (Access, Security, BMS etc.) is seeking a qualified Electrician, Electrical Engineer to provide high quality electrical installations and repairs to buildings and plant rooms.

The role is based in Glasgow visiting buildings in and around the Glasgow area.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Electrician - Commercial Buildings, Installations, Repairs, Plant Rooms

  • Carry out electrical installation works, to push projects forward and maintain effective timelines
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with the electrical manager when needed
  • Meet customer’s representatives and attend site meetings as directed.
  • Good, knowledge and disciplines in Electrical and Mechanical works and installation
  • Have good decision-making and communications skills
  • To have good knowledge of BS7671
  • Act upon reasonable requests and instructions from your line manager.
  • To work reasonable overtime as and when required.
  • To be active in ensuring all health and safety systems are implemented

Essential Skills & Experience

Electrician - Commercial Buildings, Installations, Repairs, Plant Rooms

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) or equivalent.
  • Have an enthusiastic approach to working alone and as part of a team.
  • Be reliable and flexible.
  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 Qualified with 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Hold an ECS Gold Card.
  • A full UK driving licence.
