OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL TRAINER

We are currently seeking an Electrical / Electronic professional with a genuine desire for people development.

You will be coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking units & qualifications in assembling, wiring & testing electrical equipment & circuits, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems. You will be a time served electrical professional with a L3 or above qualification. Ideally you will also need your Assessor Award (A1, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent).

THE ROLE OF THE ELECTRICAL TRAINER

To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Electrical units & qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery). Train learners towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: ELECTRICAL TRAINER

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant occupational experience within an electrical role
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working with young people
  • This position is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance
