ELECTRICAL TEST OPERATOR - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - £23.91 PER HOUR - UNDERGO BPSS/SC - 12 MONTHS - BOLTON - SINGLE STAGE F2F INTERVIEW PROCESS - NVQ 3 & HNC REQUIRED

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Test Operator to join our client on an initial 12 month deal working from Bolton.

Responsibilities: As the chosen Test Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the operational business, responsible for executing test tasks in alignment with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets, and timescales to meet project objectives. Your specific responsibilities include:

• Certifying products following Product Certification procedures.
• Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits.
• Possessing a versatile skill base to apply across a range of tasks.
• Performing setting-up procedures for testing, including awareness of the need for periodic recalibration of test equipment.
• Conducting tests on electronic equipment in accordance with test instructions, utilizing specified test equipment.
• Executing simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment.
• Keeping comprehensive test records and reporting faults for rectification.
• Ensuring manufacturing test times are met.
• Checking and completing all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
• Maintaining workmanship standards and product quality at the highest level.
• Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to a good housekeeping policy.
• Communicating best practices to other team members.

Qualifications and Skills: The successful candidate will:

• Be a team player demonstrating customer focus.
• Possess proven planning and organizing skills with flexibility and adaptability.
• Have a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC.
• Hold a formal further education certificate to HNC or an equivalent certificate.
• Have completed manual handling training.
• Hold lifting & slinging training (Including overhead cranes).
• Possess ESD training.
