BJ20 - Electrical Technician (Asset Care)
Location: Featherstone
Salary: £37,000 - £46,000 (Dependant On Experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (1 in 4 weekends)

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician on behalf of our client based in Featherstone. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join an established yet expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • HSHE awareness – Ensure that all tasks are carried out safely, adhering to all safe working practices.
  • Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and solve the root-cause problems to provide long term solutions.
  • Observe and communicate any required improvements on production machinery to support a continuous improvement culture.
  • Completion of Asset Care/TPM to plan.
  • Take part in / manage key projects and initiatives.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Achieved an Electrical Engineering qualification L3 or above
  • Experienced in maintaining industrial equipment
  • Capable of reading and working through electrical drawings
  • Good overall mechanical knowledge
  • Experienced in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • FLT/MEWP (desirable)
  • Good level of PLC knowledge and understanding
