Overview
The Electrical Qualified Supervisor is to oversee the electrical installations and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, across both residential and commercial installation. The Electrical Qualified Supervisor will play a critical role in leading a team of electricians, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electrical projects.

The successful candidate will be assessed at interview to ensure they understand and are happy with the requirements of the role shown below.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and guidance to electrical teams, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations, codes, and standards, including the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), Health and Safety regulations, and any other applicable requirements.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of electrical installations, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues or deviations from specifications.
4. Training and Development: Provide training and support to electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
5. Project Management: Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and schedule electrical work, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including installation certificates, test reports, and other relevant documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
7. Health and Safety: Promote a strong safety culture within the team, conducting risk assessments, implementing safe working practices, and ensuring that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used at all times.
8. Client Communication: Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address any concerns or queries, and ensure that their requirements are met to their satisfaction.
9. Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve any electrical issues or problems that may arise during installations or maintenance activities.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the electrical team, implementing best practices and innovative solutions where appropriate.

Requirements:
* Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition, Inspection and testing NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365) and must have Solar experience (e.g. Solar PV, EV installer, Battery design and installation)
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and supervision.
* Knowledge of electrical regulations and standards, including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely) are desirable but not essential. H&S knowledge and experience is essential.
* Full UK driving license.

MCS regulation requirements.
RECCs regulation requirements.
Solar Roofing Knowledge.
