Electrical Project Manager - Peterborough - Permanent - Commercial projects

A well-established M&E contractor are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to be based from their Peterborough office manging multiple projects.

You will be managing projects with a M&E value between £10,000 to £750,000 working on new build and refurbishment schemes including offices, schools, healthcare, heritage, industrial and retail.

The primary role will be the day to day management of the electrical team; meeting and discussing clients needs, surveying/estimating, organisation of workforce, sourcing and ordering of materials, programming and running of projects, preparation of valuations and final accounts.

Successful applicants will have the following experience:
· NVQ City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
· 18th Edition Amendment 2 Certification.
· 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection, Testing and Certification.
· Experience of working within a similar environment including electrical installations and project management.
· Experience of technical knowledge of commercial and industrial installations within the electrical sector.
· Experience of managing teams and excellent communication skills.
· Exceptional leadership skills.
· Competent in the use of a range of IT packages.
· Proficient in Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
· Self-motivated and proactive.
· Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and be an active part in the team.
· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
· Due to some of the contracts they undertake, the successful applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and various security clearances which will include Prison, Police and MOD clearances.
