Here at Futures, we are currently supporting a well-established and very niche FMCG | Food Manufacturing Business based in Leeds. The company is enjoying an impressive growth spout with genuine increase in product demand and a lot of positive press.

Due, to the growth they're looking at appointing an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work alongside their accomplished and well-respected engineering team, to fulfil the day-to-day electrical responsibilities.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, an Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing scheduled, corrective, and preventative repairs on all the electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities of an Electrical Maintenance Technician:

• Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
• Diagnose breakdown problems.
• Installing circuits and working on electrical circuits
• Electrical Fault finding on machinery and equipment.
• Electrical Installations on site.
• Drive continuous improvement on site, by analysing and reporting machinery reliability.
• Work on improvement projects as instructed by the Engineering Manager

Successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will have:

• Experience in working within a FMCG or Food Manufacturing setting (Essential)
• Qualified to a Level 3 or above in the Electrical Engineering trade.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in accordance with the workload.
• Great communication skills.
