Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Barnsley

Shifts: 4 shift rotation including weekends

Salary: £42,000 per annum

Metalis is working with a company based in Barnsley, who are a world leading manufacturing company within the furniture industry. They have had unsuppressed growth over the last 40 years, ensuring that products are manufactured to a high standard.

They are looking for a permanent electrical maintenance technician to join the team.

Job Role:

• To work within a small team, to carry out production plant and equipment maintenance to all machinery on site, in accordance with relevant legislation and safe systems of work.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Day to day machine breakdowns, including fault finding on machinery to ensure smooth running.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
• Ideally be multi skilled with mechanical knowledge as well.
• Have previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
