Our client a leading Chemicals Manufacturing Business are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Trained Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Electrical Engineering Team. This is a days-based position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities for the position will include:

  • Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Electrical plant installation and modification
  • Statutory inspections
  • The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works
  • Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems

Electrical Maintenance Technician - Requirements

  • Educated to a minimum City & Guilds level 3 or similar in a practical Electrical discipline
  • Ideally hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulation would be beneficial
  • CompEx qualification would be extremely beneficial (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06)
  • Previous experience of working within a COMAH registered facility would be highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of ATEX requirements would be beneficial
