Electrical Maintenance Team Leader
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to join their factory located between Barnsley and Huddersfield.
Salary - £50,000
Working hours – Continental – 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights and 4 off
This Maintenance Team Leader is a hands-on role, looking after a team of 3 and will be specifically responsible for identifying and prioritising pro-active and reactive maintenance tasks daily.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Team Leader
- Lead the shift on day to day maintenance activity maintaining machine availability
- Coordinate the workload and maintain planned work including PPM and improvement work
- Liaise with Engineering and Projects Lead regarding Continuous Improvement and long-term projects
- Maintain maintenance monitoring
- Provide hands on support for shift teams
- Provide consistency between shifts
- Coach and Mentor maintenance Engineers to develop succession planning
- Identify training requirements of the maintenance team
- Mentor Apprentices within the maintenance department
We are looking to speak with Electrical Maintenance Team Leader with the following skills & experience:
- A time served multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical knowledge in automated assembly systems
- Knowledge of modern Maintenance techniques 24v to 415 v circuits and controls etc
- Flexible and motivational behaviours
- Previous experience leading a team
- Experience with Agility Maintenance Planning would be advantageous
- Exposure to the S, Q, C, P, D (or equivalent) model of communication
