Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: 4 day working week

Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working with one our long-standing clients in Sheffield, who manufacture complex castings for a range of different industries. Working on heavy industrial machinery, they are looking to recruit a permanent electrical maintenance engineer to join their team on a days regular 4 day working week.

Job Role:

• To carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of machinery including furnaces and high voltage equipment.
• Work as part of a 3 man team to ensure all breakdowns are responded to efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime.
• Fault find on a range of electrical equipment including 3 phase systems.
• Ensure safety practices and policies are adhered to, particularly working within heavy engineering or steelworks.
• Have a good knowledge of health & safety and work with the maintenance manager for continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical discipline and have experience as a qualified industrial electrical engineer.
• Experience within heavy engineering would be beneficial.
• A good knowledge of health & safety and the ability to work within a small but dynamic team

Job Details:

• £20 per hour basic rate Monday to Thursday 6am-2:50pm.
• Overtime rates at £25 per hour Friday and £31 per hour Saturday/Sunday.
• Holidays- 29 days per year, based on a 4 day week.
• Monthly bonus after 2 months service.
• Quarterly Profit Share after 9 months service.
• Death in service benefit £30,000.
• Advancement to Supervisory/ Managerial role available for the right person.
