My client is one of the UK’s leading recycling companies providing environmentally sound solutions into a variety of products are due to continued extension looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several fast moving lines, driven by PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and be involved in reactive maintenance across the site working on equipment such as electrical panels, PLC, 3 phase circuits and control systems, motor testing repairs, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The company also offers a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
