Electrical maintenance engineer

Company Overview:

I am currently assisting a leading and one of the largest FM service providers with their ongoing search for electricalmaintenanceengineer to work on a luxury, high end residential site in the heart of the City.

• • Salary Range: £43k-£45k (dependant on experience & qualifications)
  • Location: Static high end residential site - Mayfair W1
  • Monday - Friday (days only) - Plenty of overtime available in evenings & weekend (non-compulsory)

  Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of electrical equipment and systems, including: UPS, transformers, Circuit breakers, distribution boards/panels and HVAC power supply.
  4. Collaborate with the wider team to carry out electrical projects, upgrades, and minor installation works
  5. Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all electricalmaintenance activities.
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports.

  Requirements:

  1. NVQ / C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and/or Level 3 electrical apprenticeship
  2. 17th or 18th edition
  3. Proven experience as an ElectricalMaintenanceEngineer in building services (commercial offices, hospitals, or critical environment preferable)
  4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  5. Plans to grow and climb the ranks in a company
