£39000 - £44000, PLUS Benefits inlcuding an exceptional pension

Bridgnorth, Shifts (4 on 4 off, 2 x 0600-1800 2x 1800 – 0600)

Company: Our client, a large and stable manufacturing business in the West Midlands, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £39,000 to £44,000 per annum, along with a shift allowance and a robust benefits package that includes an enhanced pension.

Location: Based in Bridgnorth, this position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the site. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Fault Detection and Resolution: Diagnosing and solving electrical faults on equipment throughout the facility.
  2. Reliable Electrical Distribution: Ensuring a safe and dependable electrical distribution system.
  3. Maximizing Plant Availability: Contributing to plant uptime by minimizing downtime.
  4. Reactive and Planned Tasks: Engaging in both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
  5. Root Cause Analysis: Investigating and addressing the underlying causes of issues.
  6. Commissioning Work: Participating in commissioning projects.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical subject.
  • Working Knowledge: Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Understanding: An understanding of AC drives or motors would be advantageous.
