Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Shift: 12 hour days and nights, continental shift pattern

Salary: £44,000 including shift allowance

Metalis are working with a long standing, well established client within the heavy engineering industry. They are based in Sheffield, and looking to recruit an electrical maintenance engineer to join their maintenance team.

Job Duties:

  • Respond to breakdowns on plant and machinery efficiently in order to reduce production downtime.
  • Carry out PPM's on machinery associated within a heavy engineering company.
  • Diagnose electrical faults on machinery specifically PLC controlled.
  • Working on and assisting with the repair of mechanical systems.
  • Accountability for all electrical, electronic and process control work occurring on the plant.
  • Follow correct health & safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline.
  • 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Experience with PLC's.
  • Good awareness of health & safety.
