Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Elec Bias Engineer

Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer OR Multi Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer
Salary: £43,000 to £47,000 per annum, depending on experience, + loads of overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits (Circa £48k - £50k potential with overtime)
Hours: Mon to Thur (6pm to 2am) and Fri (6pm to midnight)
Location: Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Multi Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to work within a supported and driven maintenance department, looking after a range of production machinery via planned and reactive maintenance, and project work.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent position, a Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Multi Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer opportunity, working Mon to Thur (6pm to 2am) and Fri (6pm to midnight)

Your role will include, although not limited to:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery, including conveyors, extruders, mixers, driers etc.
• Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
• PLC trouble-shooting and fault finding - Siemens S5 & S7, and Mitsubishi - Siemens mainly - and S5's are planned for upgrade to S7's
• Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.

Requirements

• Completed a recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, this could be in Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments
• Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery or equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery
• PLC knowledge - fault finding - any PLC's considered
• Any experience of SOME/ANY of the following; Sensors, Relays, Servo Drives, AC or DC Motors, Control Panels, Contactors, 3 phase etc.
• Happy to work in a medium/heavy plant environment
• Friendly and adaptable working attitude
• Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company
