Are you a seasoned Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience working in a fast-paced pressurized production environment, looking for a hands-on role with extensive training and plenty of overtime within an tier one supplier of specialist aluminium products?

On offer is the fantastic opportunity to work for a successful, well-established company with a history of over 100 years and who are the primary choice of aluminum sheet manufacturing. This Tier one supplier solve complex engineering challenges through their cutting edge manufacturing techniques and their premium service delivering to a range of industries such as aerospace, automotive and defense who supply to various blue-chip companies such as Airbus.

You will take a proactive role maintaining equipment within their manufacturing plant to ensure that operations run smoothly enabling the company to supply high-quality products on time. You will be undertaking front line repairs and perform both predictive and preventative maintenance activities to minimize plant downtime, increase machine reliability and maximize operational throughput.

This role would suit an disciplined maintenance engineer looking to play a vital part of a manufacturing team, ensuring all maintenance is carried out to industry guidelines.

The Role:

  • Undertake site maintenance by providing a service that requires reactive or proactive approach
  • Ensuring that all risk assessments are undertaken and that safe systems of work are in place
  • Ensure that all work carried out meets the H and S environmental legislation and regulations
  • Optimize availability, productivity and performance form plant and equipment on site and work with others to ensure an effective maintenance plan is in place and adhered to
  • Manage all maintenance on site including external contractors, acting as a technical specialist in relation to company including building improvements and repairs
  • Manage external contractors in delivery of installations, maintenance and service

The person:

  • Good understanding of PLC systems
  • Electrical maintenance engineer
  • Experience within faced-paced pressurized production environment
