Electrical Installation Lecturer
Stafforshire (Commutable from Stafford, Stoke, Newcastle, Derby, Crewe)
Up to £40,000 basic salary (+ £5,000 Joining Bonus, Teachers Pension Scheme (28.68%), 52 Days Holiday, Funded Training)

Are you a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer looking for a new opportunity? Or are you an electrician looking to move into a education/instructor type role? My client is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join the team at a leading Further Education College in Staffordshire.

The Role:

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Level 2 & 3 full-time students and apprentices, as well as some short courses in PAT Testing, 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing.

You will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for electrical installation while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • To teach Electrical Installation and related units/courses across the full range of the Centre's provision.
  • To teach other specialist subjects for which you are qualified and which are appropriate.
  • Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, developing and preparing flexible learning materials.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 in a relevant industry qualification.
  • 17th/18th Edition.
  • Industry experience & knowledge of Electrical Installation.
  • Willingness to attain teaching qualification.
  • Teaching experience (desirable).
