We’re Hiring: Electrical Installation Lecturer

  • Type: Part-Time (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri)
  • Nature: Temporary to Permanent
  • Location: Hampshire
  • Compensation: £35 - £45 per hour

Role Overview: As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you’ll guide FE College students through the intricacies of electrical installation and building trades. Your role is pivotal in equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition into the industry.

What We Seek:

  • Profound understanding of industry expectations and legislation
  • Ability to impart entry-level industry knowledge and skills
  • Connections with local industry in Southern/South West England (preferred)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, PGCE, Certificate in Education)
  • Possesses an assessor’s qualification (A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, IQA)
  • Experienced in engaging with 16–19-year-olds in educational or apprenticeship settings
  • Has at least a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Exhibits excellent communicationinterpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Maintains a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or is willing to apply through Reed Compliance
