Job Description: Howells are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join a clients team as a Social Housing Electrical Improver. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced electricians to assist in various electrical tasks within social housing properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the electrical trade while making a meaningful contribution to improving housing conditions for communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in social housing properties.
- Conducting basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as rewiring, socket and switch installations, and lighting upgrades.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service.
- Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
Requirements:
- Must have 18th edition
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
