Dynamite Recruitment are honoured to be working with a multimillion pound business that can offer a range of services to their customers specifically around Mechanical and Electrical Critical Services. This role will be working in the Commercial division and working closely onsite with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
This business is very well established and very ambitious with their growth plans so this is an exciting time to join the team. There are huge amounts of support to allow you to develop in your professional career.
This role will be working closely with the Senior Electrical Estimator and Estimating Manager and we can look at someone established or someone who is still relatively junior and needs further development.
 
The role of an Electrical Estimator:
  • Onsite electrical experience is very much desired
  • Responsible for creating compliant quotations from tender documents
  • Once the quote has been converted and agreed with the client, you will be producing a hand over as well as attending the pre-construction meetings
  • Negotiate supplier and sub contract labour costs
  • Prepare proposals to secure new business
  • Establish new tender opportunities by understanding the job specifications
  • Attend site to carry out walkthroughs to cross reference drawings
  • Communicate directly with the client to identify any unclear specifications
  • Attend site reviews, tender reviews and tender and project hand overs
