This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel wirer / Electrical engineer to join an established business who are leading suppliers of electrical power distribution equipment.  

Job Description:

  • Producing the arrangements for our products and working within the Engineering Team’s procedural framework to ensure all design requirements are met. Key areas include: 
  • Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
  • Developing and maintaining component libraries
  • Supporting the mechanical engineers where required
  • Maintaining standard designs
  • Investigating new technologies 
  • Working closely with the fitting department to improve output to internal customers

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge & understanding of relay logic
  • Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Fault finding skills
  • Panel wiring experience
  • Previous experience of transformers would be ideal but not essential
  • AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience would be ideal but not essential
  • Autodesk Inventor experience would be ideal but not essential
  • Organised with good communication skills.
  • A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
  • Good numeracy and I.T. skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail

Additional Details:

  • Salary - £35,000 - £45000
  • 5 days on site – no hybrid working
  • Hours - 8:30am – 4:45pm  – 3:30pm finish on Friday
  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
  • Company Bonus Scheme  - currently paying around 20%
