Electrical Engineer

We are offering an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a thriving manufacturing business experiencing increased demand for their products. The role involves planning and executing maintenance duties, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and maintaining accurate records of all tasks performed. The expansion of the Electrical and Mechanical teams aims to meet production needs while maintaining an optimal work-life balance for our engineers.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Keep detailed reports and records of maintenance tasks and breakdown interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the Mechanical team to ensure seamless production operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Shift Engineer, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC skills, with Siemens systems knowledge being highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical issues clearly.
- Experience working with a continental shift pattern.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and fault diagnosis.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and quality of work.
