Our client, a leading print company, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing maintenance and repair services to both the building and printing plant, including various machinery. If you have excellent mechanical skills and a passion for problem-solving, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year

Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 17:00 pm)

Location: East London

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to breakdowns and providing maintenance support to the Group of Companies
Conducting regular lighting maintenance for all owned buildings
Assisting in ad-hoc installation projects
Completing job sheets in a timely manner
Planning and executing scheduled maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Managing stock of supplies and equipment

Requirements:

Maths & English GCSE Grade 4 or higher
City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate
Qualified to part 1 and 2 City and Guilds for electrical installations
Time served apprenticeship
Experience working on machinery and general building maintenance
Excellent mechanical/maintenance skills
Essential PLC fault-finding skills
Lithographic and screen-printing knowledge is desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Flexible approach to work
