About the company?
This highly successful, Building Services Engineering consultancy specialise in Cleanrooms, working on projects across the country, and Europe. They are now looking to complement their Building Services design division with a versatile Electrical Engineer, someone who maybe has experience on complex projects, or is hoping to move into this sort of position. While they work mainly on cleanrooms, these types of builds can be applied to a huge range of buildings, in sectors such as battery storage, hospitals, NHS projects, laboratories and data centres – don’t think you’d pigeon hole yourself!

This consultancy has an extremely well-established presence around not only around the UK, but their operations are now extending into Europe, working on Cleanroom specific, projects across the continent, meaning you would get the chance to work on a range of flagship projects from day one!

They’ve very recently taken on one large projects, M&E services estimated around the 8M euro mark, which you’d initially be working on. This Cleanroom isolation unit is based in Dublin and will be a special unit for highly contagious patients with infections as serious as Ebola! There is no ‘normal’ project with this consultancy, so if you’re after interesting builds with highly complex and critical engineering, this is the role for you!

With other projects in sectors such as Datacentres, Battery storage facilities and Laboratories, you’ll be working on some really different, bespoke buildings, making everyday different to the usual residential project.

This practice is known for their sociable, outgoing, flexible, and friendly office culture, making it a fantastic place to work. They’re hoping for this hire to join the business with around 2 to 5-years experience with the desire and passion to push on with their career and become chartered. What they require from the successful Electrical Engineer – Building Services Design?
  • Proven Building Services Design experience, ideally around 2 to 4 years
  • A relevant degree qualification or working towards chartership.
  • An understanding of software packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux/Relux and ideally Revit
  • The desire to best the best at what you do while representing the company
  • Sociable, outgoing, and professional manner
  • The ability to lead projects and small teams
  • Versatile individual with the ability to put your hand to several different complex engineering projects
