We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. BASIC SALARY: £55,000 - £65,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic

As our dynamic electrical design engineer, you'll tackle a wide array of responsibilities spanning multiple sustainable/renewable energy initiatives, your duties will include:
· Design Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and High Voltage Power Systems.
· Create all drawings and schedules, conduct grid connection studies and feasibility assessments.
· Site surveys and client meetings, offer technical support, produce reports, and manage projects from concept to completion.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic

· You MUST be an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with experience in Photovoltaic / Battery Energy Storage Systems (PV/BESS) theory or HV/Power systems. (both would be advantageous).
· You MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer ideally with experience of using AutoCAD and other PV-specific CAD tools (We use PVSYST here).
· Understanding MV/HV AC distribution systems and project management/design experience in large/commercial-scale Photovoltaic (PV) installations is a key requirement too.
